Minneapolis Plumbing and Heating
Minneapolis is known as ‘Mill City’ because it was once the world’s flour milling capital. While starting out as a major timber source and the home of several large railroads, it’s still a major business center now containing America’s fifth-highest concentration of Fortune 500 companies. Minneapolis’ name is a combination of mni, a Dakota Sioux word for water, and polis, the Greek word for city, the ‘water city’ has 20 lakes and wetlands. The ‘Mini Apple‘ is bordered by the Mississippi River on the north and the Minnehaha creek to the south and is known for the Minnnehaha waterfall. Since all these lakes and rivers are lined with bike trails gaining Minneapolis the rank of number one city for cycling by several magazines and organizations.
